About ENDIP

What does ENDIP stand for?
ENDIP is the Entrepreneurial Development and Internship Programme, a Nigerian organisation focused on building sustainable enterprises and creating jobs for young people through capacity development, micro-credit access, business incubation and real-world internships.
Where is ENDIP located?
Our head office is at ENDIP House, 39 Fyne Face Chuku Street, Off Alcon Road, By Zacosem Filling Station, Woji Town, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
What is ENDIP’s main goal?
Our central commitment is to build 10,000 sustainable enterprises that create 30,000 jobs in Nigeria by 2030. We measure our progress against that target every year.
Does ENDIP work outside Rivers State?
Yes. ENDIP programmes have been delivered across multiple states as we work towards national reach. Contact us to find out whether a programme is currently running in your area.

Programmes

What programmes does ENDIP run?
We run six programmes: the Advance Internship Programme, Financial Literacy For Schools, the Future Entrepreneurs Academy, Sustainable Enterprise Development, the Waste & Recycling Programme, and E-Learning & Training. See the programmes page for full details on each.
How much do the programmes cost?
Most ENDIP programmes are free for participants. Where a programme has any cost, we state it clearly before you commit, and we look for funding partners so that cost is never a barrier. Contact us for the current position on a specific programme.
Who can join the Future Entrepreneurs Academy?
FEAP is designed for young Nigerians aged 16 to 30 who want to explore entrepreneurship and understand the role business plays in economic and social development.
What is the Waste & Recycling Programme about?
It plans and delivers community waste-reduction projects and helps establish sustainable waste collection and recovery businesses, turning an environmental problem into green income for local entrepreneurs.
Is the E-Learning platform open to everyone?
Yes. The E-Learning & Training programme is open to individuals and organisations across Nigeria, and is built so that quality training is accessible regardless of location.

Internship Programme

How long is the internship?
The Advance Internship is a 12-month on-the-job placement. It is structured rather than ad hoc, so you gain real experience over a full year rather than a short stint.
Who is eligible to apply?
You can apply if you are a recent graduate or a final-year student, aged between 18 and 35, and a Nigerian citizen. All fields are welcome — business, technology, sciences, arts and more.
Will I be paid during the internship?
Payment and stipend arrangements depend on the host organisation and the cohort. Where a placement is paid, this is made clear at the matching stage before you accept. Ask us about the current cohort for specifics.
What happens after the 12 months?
Around 50% of our graduates secure full-time employment. Those who do not still leave with a year of real work experience, references, a professional network and a stronger CV.
I am a final-year student. Can I still apply?
Yes. Final-year students are eligible. Indicate your expected graduation date in your application and we will factor that into matching.

Partnerships & Hosting

Our company wants to host an intern. How does that work?
Send us a message choosing “Hosting an Intern” in the contact form, with details about your organisation and the roles you can offer. We will discuss fit, timing and structure, then match you with suitable candidates.
Does hosting an intern cost anything?
No recruitment fee is charged to host organisations. The arrangement is mutually beneficial: you gain a pre-trained, motivated intern, and a young Nigerian gains a real start.
Can we partner by funding instead of hosting?
Absolutely. Partnerships can take the form of funding a cohort, sponsoring equipment, providing tools or technical expertise, or supporting a specific programme. Tell us what you have in mind and we will shape it with you.
Can I volunteer or mentor?
Yes. We welcome volunteers and mentors in a range of areas — mentoring, facilitating workshops, design, admin and outreach. See the Get Involved page to tell us what you would like to do.

Applications

How do I apply?
Use the contact form, choose the relevant enquiry type, and tell us which programme you are applying for. We reply within one to two working days with the next step.
What documents do I need?
Start with your name, email and a clear description of your interest. For the internship specifically, have your university details and expected graduation date ready. We will ask for more at the screening stage.
How long does the process take?
After we receive your application, screening and matching usually takes one to two weeks, depending on the programme and cohort size. We will keep you informed at each stage.
What if I miss a cohort?
You will be told about the next intake when applications open. Because cohorts fill, it is worth applying early and following our social channels for announcements.

Not finding it? Ask the assistant.

The assistant answers from the same verified questions published above, so it will tell you plainly when something is not covered rather than guess. It cannot accept an application, arrange a payment or promise a place — for that, talk to a person.
